Silk Icons Flex Library

The Flex Silk icon library is a SWC library that contains 1000 16x16 pixel icons for use in applications and web pages. This library is based on version 1.13 of the Silk icon library created by Mark James (www.famfamfam.com).

The reason the SWC library was created is as simple as the icons themselves – I needed a clean way to add the icons to my Flex projects without having to remember lots of file names and keep from cluttering up my source graphical asset folders. This library solves both problems.

ImageRotater v1.3

Image Rotater was designed to make it easier to rotate externally loaded JPG, GIF, and PNG files into a Flash movie. The component loads the images and scales them proportionantly (and optionally centers the scaled image) to fit within the component dimensions. Sample uses for this component are banner ads, photo galleries, and art portfolios. This component is released under GPL licensing.

CFX_imageInfoJE

CFX_imageInfoJE is a Macromedia ColdFusion cfx custom tag, written in Java, that returns the height, width, aspect ratio, and file size (in bytes) of the passed image and is licensed under GPL licensing. It includes some of the functionality of a similar cfx tag: CFX_ImageInfoSE, published by Intrafoundation Software in October 2000 as "freeware." The primary differenc is that CFX_imageInfoJE is platform independent whereas CFX_ImageInfoSE was complied as a .dll file for ColdFusion on the Microsoft Windows platform.
